Frame for Russ Kushinski's 46 Chev COE

I talked with Russ just after purchasing my Dustless Blasting(tm) system and he needed the Frame done for his 46 Chev COE. We agreed that he wanted the frame cleaned and painted. He called me when he was ready.

The frame was stripped of the body to a rolling chassis. Inspection of the frame found lots of undercoating on the frame and various places had new metal or tubing added. This is what the frame looked like before blasting.

Started to blast the top part of the frame and Alberta Mobile DustFree Blasting was easily able to strip the frame to it's bare metal. This video shows the frame cleaned from the top. We then lifted the frame to gain access to the underneath. As you can see the frame has been cleaned on the top but still some blasting to do underneath.

Once the frame was completely cleaned it was pressure washed and then treated with Hold Tight 102 Rust inhibitor. We let the frame dry overnight.

The next day the frame was completely blown off and wiped down with Wax and Grease remover. The frame was painted with Zero Rust AR-62 Black Paint. Russ and myself think the results came out AWESOME.Check it out.

If you have any questions about this and wish to talk to Russ, he is more than happy to talk to anyone about it. Call him at 780-914-9210.

Frame Hoist Blasted

This was a hoist frame that they had stripped off the deck and found it very rusty (Sorry never got before pictures). As you can see the frame came out very clean. It was allowed to dry over night. The next day the frame was wiped clean and then painted with Zero Rust paint. This is a direct to metal paint which seals the metal to prevent future rust issues.
